About Leads for Cleaners

A call list tool for cleaning companies.

Built and run by one developer.

I’m Daniel, known online as Dannci. I’ve built and sold software since 2008, mostly WordPress themes used by more than 34,000 customers.

Leads for Cleaners is my newest product. It gives commercial cleaning companies a list of local businesses to call, so you don’t spend your evenings copying phone numbers out of Google Maps.

If you email support, I answer. If something breaks, I fix it. There’s no sales team between you and the person who wrote the code.

Why cleaning companies

I'm not a cleaner. I build software, and I noticed a gap.

Commercial cleaning is still sold by phone. You call, you ask for the office manager, you book a walkthrough.

Most lead tools are built for sales teams that send email sequences, and they’re priced for those teams. A small cleaning company doesn’t need a CRM or a database of executives. It needs a list of businesses nearby, a phone number for each one, and a way to remember who said “call me back in March”.

So that’s all Leads for Cleaners does. Type a business type and a city, get the list in about a minute, mark every call, add notes, export to CSV when you want.

I won’t pretend to know your job better than you do. What I can promise is a tool that stays small, does its one job well, and keeps working.

How I run it

Four rules the product is built around

These aren’t slogans. Each one is how the app actually behaves.

01

You pay for leads, not for searches

Credits are used only for businesses you actually get. If a search returns fewer than you asked for, the difference goes back to your balance within minutes. Run the same search again within 48 hours and it costs nothing.

02

Business contacts only

Phone numbers, websites, addresses and ratings from public Google Maps business listings. No owners’ personal numbers, no scraped personal emails. Any business can ask to be removed, and the removal applies to every list in the app.

03

Payments you can trust

Checkout, sales tax and receipts are handled by Paddle, an established payments company that acts as the seller of record. Cancel in one click, and the credits you have left stay usable.

04

Your lists are yours

Export any list to CSV whenever you want, with your call statuses and notes. Nothing is locked inside the app.

Questions?

Before you sign up.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. You can start for free with no credit card required. You’ll get 20 credits when you sign up, with up to 10 results per search. The free plan includes the same live data, call tracking, and CSV export as paid plans.

Public Google Maps business listings, read at the moment you run the search. Nothing is bought from a data broker and nothing is served from an old cached file, if a business updated its number last week, that’s the number you get.

No. Google Maps listings carry a phone number and sometimes a website, and that is what we can honestly deliver. If your plan is to send bulk email, this is the wrong tool and we’d rather you knew now.

The first ten calls are uncomfortable for everybody. The thing that makes it survivable isn’t a script, it’s having the next number already in front of you so there’s no gap to talk yourself out of it.

Start with one business type in one city, work the list top to bottom in a single sitting, and write down what you said on the ones that went well.

Then a search returns fewer results, and you’re charged for fewer. Ask for 100 in a town that only has 23 matching businesses and the other 77 credits go straight back to your balance. You can also search the nearest larger city, or the same business type across several towns.

No. Your balance is topped back up to your plan’s allowance at the start of each billing period rather than added to. If you’re regularly finishing the month with a large unused balance, the smaller plan is the better fit and switching takes one click.

Yes. From your billing page, in one click, with no email to anybody. Cancelling stops future renewals and leaves your remaining credits alone, they don’t expire when the subscription does, and your saved leads stay in your account.

The United States and United Kingdom, plus Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and most of Western Europe, 23 in total. The country is searched alongside the city, so a Springfield in Illinois is never confused with one somewhere else.

Unused free credits are replaced by your plan’s monthly credits when you upgrade. They’re replaced, not added
